Having worked with Drew on Umbrage in 2009 I am always eager to read anythng he writes. When I read the script to Monk3ys I knew immediately it was a film I not only wanted to do but in an odd kind of way needed to do.

The character of Dougie, an alcoholic Scot, is based on numerous people both real and fictional.
